How long have you been involved in computer graphics?

Since 1998.

Are you still dealing with computer graphics?

Yes, I do. To date, I have generated nearly 2 TB of image data (more than 65,000 files). My collection of designs, artworks (including new images), and scripts is so complex that without exclusively dedicate myself to graphics only, this data package cannot be processed. I need to find a way to solve this.

Why are you doing computer graphics?

When I create images in Photoshop, my brain shuts down completely and focuses on the only thing - the one I see in front of me. Nothing else exists at the time. In this way, I can relieve stress and relax.
And for those who ask with disdain and incomprehension, my answer is short: I do it because I know how.

What motivates you to create?

At first, I thought my creative work was connected to the low points I experience. Later, I realized it is actually the opposite. On days when I am doing well - when I feel I have accomplished something during the day that gives me a sense of satisfaction - those are exactly the days I am in the mood to create art. Of course, not every day is a great day. Perhaps the low points in my life amplify the sense of accomplishment (even a small one) so much that it motivates me to create. Who knows.

Can I add some of your images to the collection on my website?

Yes, if you meet the following conditions. The images will not be used for direct or indirect commercial purposes and will remain intact. It must be clear that I am the author of the images. Enjoy!

What image viewer do you use?

I prefer and use ACDSee Classic for several key reasons:

1. it is very fast,
2. has a simple interface,
3. can display image thumbnails,
4. can directly navigate directories,
5. can view PSD images, and
6. magnifies images so that pixels are visible.

The pixel-level magnification is essential for analyzing my graphics work. However, when viewing regular photographs, I miss more advanced interpolation method (resizing) for a smoother, less blocky appearance. Other image viewers always lag behind at least one of these points. I do not use ACDSee Classic for anything other than viewing images.
When I need to convert an image to another graphic format, I use IrfanView. I also use IrfanView to optimize and edit JPEG files. I use PNGOUT to convert images to PNG format. And I use XnView MP to view photos.

What are your other favorites besides computer graphics?

I enjoy programming in PHP. I enjoy inventing algorithms. In addition to the artistic side, I am interested in computer graphics at a lower level (how image processing works: image derivatives, image gradient, kernel convolution, Gaussian filter, other filters, image formats, image resizing algorithms, color spaces, image corrections, statistical evaluation of images).

What kind of music do you listen to?

My favorite genre is electronic music. I do not have a single favorite artist, but I like to listen to selected albums from these artists (in alphabetical order):

What is your favorite AI model?

Deepseek with the 'DeepThink' feature enabled. This mode allocates more time for deeper reasoning, and I appreciate the insight into the model's 'thought' process.

Can you reveal any technical details about this website?

I do not use any commercial or free database. A long time ago, for certain technical reasons, I decided to design my own database. Such a solution has two advantages and one disadvantage. The advantage is the speed and ease of deployment. The downside is more complex programming. And yes, this database is faster than any multipurpose database.
As for the server, to my knowledge it is a small, passively cooled computer.
